Acoustic slatted walls for ABAB Eindhoven
During the renovation phase of ABAB Eindhoven, a unique interior concept was realized, whereby the exterior of meeting units was clad with PET felt slatted walls. This project, carried out by BM Interiors B.V., was designed by Misha Breuer (Studio Breuer) and Job Conen (Studio Conen).
The unique design
Multiple meeting rooms in this office are equipped with PET felt wall finishes. The exterior of the units is clad with 12 mm PET felt, with slats of the same material and thickness on top. Each unit has a unique appearance achieved through varying colour combinations. The construction consists of 12 mm back panels with cut-outs, into which the slats are securely attached. This not only creates an eye-catching visual effect but also contributes to improved acoustics.
The final result
Thanks to meticulous execution and close collaboration between all parties, the project proceeded smoothly. The final result? A vibrant, inspiring working environment where employees benefit from a pleasant acoustics. ABAB Eindhoven is therefore very satisfied with the outcome.
